General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi ,
The impression from your scan tells that you have poly cystic ovarian disease (PCOS)a medical condition that affects ovary bilaterally.
PCOS is a syndrome caused due to abnormal hormonal balance in the body causing heavy periods ,irregular bleeding ,abdominal pain, having trouble getting pregnant ,excessive facial hair ,velvety and patchy skin ,obesity ,obstructive sleep apnea, heart disease, type 2Diabetes mellitus, etc.
PCOS as such has no definitive cure ,control of obesity ,sugar levels and antiandrogens for excessive androgens in PCOS,correction of hypothyroidism etc
So my advice is that you need to consult a good endocrinologist for all the imbalances that have occurred in your body to correct accordingly.
Hope my insight about your condition might be helpful to you.
